This policy describes what happens to the information that Headmatters- CI collects.
This information includes personal information as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any subsequent data protection legislation. This policy describes how Headmatters-CI manages your information, if you contact Headmatters-CI or when Headmatters-CI contact you. The use the information collected is in accordance with all laws concerning the protection of personal data including the Data Protection (Jersey) Law.
As per these laws, Alison Pell is the data controller; if another party has access to your data you will be informed and if they are acting as a data controller or a data processor, who they are, what they are doing with your data and why they need to be provided with the information.

This information is collected directly from you. Certain information about you may be required from a health professional (such as your GP) to provide a complete health assessment. This may include sensitive personal information.
Your information is securely stored:
I use a Laptop computer. This computer is password protected and the hard drives are encrypted. Passwords are not shared.
I also store notes on an encrypted and secure cloud server. Certain data is stored on the encrypted MHS assessment site. When QB is used, the QB results are stored on the QB encrypted server.
Microsoft Word is used to produce invoices. The computer record includes the most recent invoice generated. Microsoft Word is also used to produce letters to health professionals and any health insurance companies.
In the instance of paper-based information, this is stored in a lockable filing cabinet.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights.
